I just need a minute
To see what I believe
To see what I have given
To see what I receive.

I want to take a new path
I don't know which one leads where
I've done the work, I know the math
But how can I get there?

Probability and odds
Discouraging so...
I'd rather have a nod
From someone who'd know

With whom can I share stock
And who should I believe
Bonds become the lock
But love is always key.

Just give me a moment
To look within myself
What can I draw from it
Would it hold true wealth?

I just need a minute
To see what I believe
To see what I have given
To see what I receive.

Now I'm on the path I chose
Has it all just been a lie?
But you're the only one who knows
I simply rolled a die.

I just need a minute
To see what I believe
To see what I have given
To see what I receive.

Because I have changed. But will I revert?
I know I've hurt people, and I know that shit happens, but I don't want to be that person.
Looking within, all I find are questions. There are never any answers.
They come as quick as they go, but one is constant.
Has it been a lie?

UPDATE: 7/20 3:52 AM
Well, it's been a few days but I'm finally updating this comment box to say:

I was writing down my random riffs for a change, and ended up with a bass line very fitting for this song. Now I just need drums, guitar, and a singer... Then we need to record...

I really like this.
I understand what you're going through. c:
Just... try to have faith in yourself.
